Well I've owned a few iphones and I've dropped less calls with the iP4 than the others.
No issues with the screen, which is by far and away the #1 reason its better than any before it. There is no question in my mind that its the best phone I've used extensively, and without question (IMO, that is) better than any iPhone before it.
Original iPhone was the best form factor though, the feel of it was so much better than the iPhone 4.
Even given that its just your opinion, to say its a POS, is simple hyperbole, and discredits any argument you may have that it is not as good as its predecessors.
I'm happy it's working for you, but that doesnt mean they were problem free.
The rest is your opinion, not fact.... But since you like the iPhone 4 your opinion must count more then mine right?
Yes your right... Me saying it's a POS negates any opinion I have. Why didn't I see that?
Oh right. Cause a lot of people agree. And it's important. And I want the iPhone 5 soon, so I can rid myself of the 3GS, and hear from all you fanbois that IT is the best phone eva omgwtf everyone has to agree or they don't know what they are talking abot!!!!!!

Here is what I suspect...
1) If no major case changes, a quiet introduction like today's iMac
2) If a major case and feature change, a "One More Thing" next week...
3) Perhaps the reason for the delay in introduction is the Meroms are still constrained and Apple wanted them in the iMacs first.
Either way, I'm anticipating them to be introduced soon and I'll be in line as quickly as possible along with many here to buy one.

I'd take photos with an iPad. Those naysayers are ridiculous. Sure, it's not a device I'd use for frivolous photography on the fly, but it would be fine for capturing photos and videos. The iPad is still the best all-in-one video/photo/editor because of screen size.
This is the most simplistic statement.
A crap camera will never take a great picture, despite the hands it is in. It might take something vaguely enigmatic on some level, but with bad lens, inability to capture colors, or faulty mechanics/electronic, it will be nothing more than a crippling piece of equipment.
A good photographer can frame, layer, focus the subject, and compose well. Yes, you don't need a "good" camera for those qualities, but you need a well-creafted camera to back up and improve on the photographer's skills.
I think when you consider what a good photographer can do with Aperture, it might make more sense to you.

That $1199 iMac has lots of other wonderful features including a screen, but if you think it is anywhere close to the performance of a i7-2600 based PC (that go for $750 from HP/Dell) then you are delusional. To get something from Apple with an equivalent processor you are looking at a $2199 iMac or a $2499 Mac Pro. Doesn't matter that in the long term the Mac could be a better value, some people can't justify that huge price difference or paying additional for features they don't need or want or cannot afford to.
Again Macs are a premium product and because of that Apple will hit a ceiling of those who can afford or justify buying their products.
I'll not take being called "delusional" to be an insult, I'll take it as involuntary humor on your side. Someone made up a wonderful term "specturbators". That's the people the $750 PC appeals to. Reality is that the iMac will get the job done, with plenty of speed, beautiful, and reliable, much better than the $750 PC. For jobs that it can't get done, sorry mate, there is a reason why each processor in the Mac Pro alone costs a lot more than the whole $750 PC.
So that's how Dell has been staying a float by selling you a 15" model every year. :p
That's why Dell sells three times as many PCs. Because people have to buy three PCs instead of one Mac :-) (But actually, they only sell slightly more than twice as many in the USA anymore. So there are actually more Mac buyers than Dell buyers).

The vast majority of gun incidents and stabbings happen within gangs, it's the parents fault for not educating their child to keep away from them. I know for instance that stabbings in London is highly overstated, in that London I think is the most populated capital in Europe and so it's inevitable for these frequent occurrences.
I don't consider London particularly dangerous, as long as you stay away from the places notorious for having yobs and gangs during the evening.

Your point would be valid IF SHE HAD A FAMILY TO HAUL AROUND ANYMORE. ...Edit...
And yes, I do feel good about myself. I drive a vehicle that gets 95+ mpg.
My diesel SUV will EAT your 95 MPG mini-mini. Hoooya. and when did this become the Auto blog?

The Beatles: Four guys who needed each other, because individually they were musical infants.
No, thanks.
I'm not going to pretend to be a huge fan, or even a fan. They were before my time, but I think that's a bit of a reach.
I mean, Imagine...not exactly a nursery rhyme.

Can we get the new ones with the school promotion?
I don't think so because if you add a computer to the cart, it says "Get a free nano.. blahblahblah" and it links to a page with the old nano model but a lower price. The pdf mail-in-rebate has also been updated with two columns, one with the old prices (ordered before sept 12) and one with the new prices (ordered after sept 12) but always with the old model.

I went over a store lately where they sell macs and other stuff like fridges , phones , televisions , pc's , ...
In that store I was interested in the 17" mbp and the salesman said it was the last one they had and they gave a discount of 200 because they couldn't order a new one.
Then I made the hard choice :( of waiting till the new one comes out.
So only buy when you really need it.:D

But it's also stupid because it rewards Brazil for its aggressive mercantilist policies. Other countries, particularly in Latin America, are likely to take note and follow. In fact, they'll be foolish if they don't.
So now Brazil is the one having "aggressive mercantilist policies"?
Why don't you talk about the US's egregiously illegal subsidies to its orange juice, steel and ethanol industries against Brazilian imports of the same products?
In case you don't know about them, just check WTO's website to see the rulings AND appeals that the US has continuously lost against Brazil. Or is it nice to have "free markets" only when you benefit from them?

My prediction is that the next iPhone will go on sale Friday, 11/11/11, just in time for Christmas sales. Apple can't let a cool date like that go by without something big happening. My guess is that it will called iPhone 4G, not iPhone 5.

Another thing that will NEVER happen is an Apple DVR. iTV is for use with iTunes downloadable content. Apple will never release a recording device. It's not their model. They would rather you ditch your satellite and cable and go with getting your shows from iTunes - hence the iTV.
isn't it satellite or cable that provides the DVR capability now? ditch them, and you don't have any ability to record "live" (real-time) broadcasts. Don't you think there are times you'd want to do that, iTV or not?

more MP's ≠ better photos.
Yes, and that's why Apple is going to increase MPs from 5 to 8 but, obviously, it's "not about the specs".

I lost my last job due to outsourcing. I know what it feels like.
Let's just not forget that we need jobs too, and we offer better conditions for the factories, so it's only fair that we get them.

I'll wait for the Media Centre Edition to ship - that's one of the "super secret" parts of OSX 10.5 that hasn't been shown.
Could you expand on this? What will the Media edition add to the pot? Thanks.

Forgive me if this isn't new, but I just noticed that you can order the BT keyboard and mighty mouse as a package for $60 ($54 edu discount). Given that the BT MM alone is $69, this is a great deal.

Automatic, without user authentication would not make sense. Apple has never issued updates or installed anything without user interaction. That would open the OS up to security risks. So, it wont be automatic.
Over 3G? No thank you. Wireless on WiFi is fine.
Automatic as in do now or do later but must do until a certain time has passed.
Given their firmware signing they must have something like that...
