Why is everyone so worked up over a new iPhone? The current phone still beats most smart-phones on the market today. Blah, Blah 4G Blah, Blah faster Blah Blah. Most don't even know what "4G" even is other then it is a larger number in front of the letter "G" and thats gotta make it FFAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Those prices are a bargin. Nice to see a $CA1K model - even if the graphic card stinks - but not everyone needs a decent graphics card.

Very true. My 8 year old 3.2MB Olympus takes amazing pictures as good as my much more expensive 10MP Canon SLR. Also, my GF's new phone has a 8MP camera and it's junk. My iPhone does soooo much better.
Anyway... it would be good to see more in the iPhone 5. I would love to see them put a bigger lens though. More lens would do much better in lower light.

After applying the update, it seems like it's running cooler. I'm getting 53-54C now, when normally it's 58-59.
I got my mb the moment the were selling them in cincinnati and i've had one problem. It discolors, but i can almost get over that. I have never had the over heating issue, my computer stays around 35c and 40c. The new update scared the crap out of me when the fans went into full blast. they've never done that ever! now my battery seems to not last long at all. this could be an issue in the future... Wear and tair on the battery from recharging it all the time. I used to be able to use my mb all day, low screen brightness, not blue tooth, no wifi, no problem. Now i cant even go to work without my charger. Really sad. I really want to save up for a mbp and put this energy beast on ebay.

Frankly, I'm shocked no one has complained about the actual changes to the 'iTunes Store'! Yet. I'm looking at it using iTunes 6 and its like: :eek:
They've like basically overhauled the entire browser in there! I'm not too sure how I feel about it...

ATT Fanboys are really hoping for VZW to end unlimited.
VZW is going to be the biggest phone company anymore, I bet they don't get rid of unlimited data for a long time. VZW needs to stay competitive as they are not going to be the biggest company anymore....................

I think its Apple's fault. Motorola too. Apple always says how an 800MHz Powerbook is better at x and x than a PC, but the PC is still faster at like everything.
Its motorolas problem for not makin faster chips! But its Apples fault for not moving to IBM by now, and Apple is just accepting that they are barely over 1GHz when PCs are moving up on 3GHz

This is almost Microsoft-like: at what point does the public simply become so sick of badly written software from an arrogant company that historically captured a large market share and is now doing everything possible to stifle innovation that it simply moves on?

Anybody have a sense of whether this update will work for the MBP's? And if not, why Apple decided to ignore the exact same issue on their pro line?

I wouldnt think so (of course thats a big assumption). There has to be some kind of acceptance prior to the download, along with all the EUA jazz. I wish Apple would give the JB community a little slack, as they do the hackintosh folks.

The iPod will sell- but the music- most people who like the Beatles already have the music- it's if they can be bothered paying again with the DRM involved.
