It seems that nobody ever likes anything successful.. Look at poor mcdonalds,coca cola,Ford and now apple and its ipod.... All the biggest comapanies always get in trouble. BMW and their idrive, ford and the firestone blowouts, apple and hearing loss... while dont people stop being jealous and peee off.

Looking at the 15" models. With the educational discount, is it worth an extra $500 for the 15" 2.33GHz, 2GB Ram, 256MB Graphics. The other model is 2.16GHz, 1GB Ram & 128MB Graphics.

I don't think anyone believes that this will be the end of terrorism. Just like America wouldn't collapse if our President was assassinated. But it would still be a pretty big deal right?

At 10:30 this morning Bristol had a few white Verizon pads and a few black 16GB WiFi pads. Neither was what I was looking for. I went to MV, Spectrum, Fashion Isalnd, called Brea and Cerritos - all sold out. I am going back to Bristol for opening time tomorrow.

Bristol Apple store? Ill be going to Best Buy (Tustin / the District / Costa Mesa, either of those) to reserve an iPad tomorrow. If they happen to have one, ill get a black 16gb WiFi. Ill probably call each store before I go though. Either way, Ill have one by the end of the week it seems.
And if that doesnt work, Ill try the Apple stores (Irvine and Fashion Island and South Coast.)
Then if I am totally empty handed Ill just expand outside of the OC if I have to.

Amazon charges its cloud service too. Why should Apple give anything away for free? :rolleyes:
I guess the point is that the base service should be free. I don't demand that from Apple but storing 2GB worth of 'my songs' should be free.

Highly unlikely that Apple will release an actual tv. More probable are televsions from major manufacturers that have air play functionality built in.

FW 800, 2gig of ram im soo pyched, and I was just about to pick one up this weekend, but my i couldnt do an instore pickup at the apple store. Im glad i waited.

In Boston, mostly everyone I know with an iPhone, including myself, uses a case. It's more surprising when you see someone NOT using a case.
I use a case so it doesn't get as damaged in my pocket, and in the event you drop the device, there may be some saving grace that it doesn't shatter the glass.

After waiting two years for TMO to get the iPhone, I just threw up my arms in disgust at the merger news and moved over to VZ. Wish I could get confirmation before my thirty days with VZ are up.
For those of you talking trash about TMO's network: While their overall coverage is not as good as VZ's, their speed network wide is better than either VZ or AT&T. Much better. Much, much better. Trust me. I know.
