How many of these stores do you shop at? I have to say, of the stores on this collage I only ever shopped at H&M, Zara and Forever 21. I usually shop at Express, Target, and New York & Company. After following a few blogs, especially Jessica Quirk's What I Wore in which she featured a lot of outfits with ModCloth dresses, I started ordering from them too.Colored Pants
Also in my daily reads I've noticed some trends in clothing items in general. Such as colored pants. Colored pants are all over the blogosphere, but I seem to be having a hard time finding them, or at least a pair that fits me!! I really want to own a pair, because I'm obsessed with color blocking. Do you like the color pants trend? Would you or have you worn them?
Maxi SkirtsMaxi skirts are everywhere too. They are actually trumping Maxi dresses. I love Maxi dresses as my go to item. I still haven't gotten into the Maxi skirt trend because I can't seem to find the right pair. One that doesn't make me look like a grandma or frumpy. I think I need a more tapered maxi skirt, like the white one in the collage below from Express. I think the see-through chiffon ones from American Apparel are really cool too! Which do you prefer? Maxi Dresses or Maxi Skirts?
Harem PantsAnd who would have guessed that M.C. Hammer would have been a style icon in his own right with the return of Harem pants? I don't know how I feel about these yet. I think I would have to do a less baggy, saggy butt pair to really pull them off. A girl working at F21 yesterday had on a cute pair of gray sweatpants ones. Do you guys like the Harem Pant? Would you wear a fully printed one?
Crochet, Lace, Leather, & Skorts
Shorts for this spring have really evolved! I think this is my favorite trend that I've been seeing around the blogosphere. I went to Express yesterday to buy a pair of their faux leather shorts, but they were all out of them :-(. Looks like I'll have to order them online. And at first I didn't like the whole ruffled skort thing...if you want to wear shorts that look like a skirt...just wear a skirt! But after I tried on a pair at Express yesterday I fell in love with them! They are so cute, and because they are "shorts" you can get away with a shorter length! What do you think of these shorts? Which is your favorite? Lace, Crochet, Leather, or Skort? Which ones would you not wear?
